Volk, an album from Vate, has now been remastered on its 15th anniversary.
Volk is a summary of the work done between 2001 and 2005.
Since then, many movements within Mexican electronic music fused electronic music with popular music.I received a great influence from them and the feedback with other musicians was very strong.
The constant in this work is the union of “modern” electronic music with traditional popular sound: music, mass culture or urban subjects. Volk was developed with these ingredients, plus the creation of the Chill ánd Go group and the participation in Urbe Probeta compilation.

Volk, un álbum de Vate, ha sido remasterizado en su 15 aniversario.
Es un resumen del trabajo hecho entre 2001 y 2005.
En ese entonces, muchos movimientos dentro de la electrónica mexicana fusionaron música electrónica con música popular. Recibí una gran influencia de ellos y la retroalimentación con otros músicos fue muy frecuente.
La constante en esta obra es la unión de la música electrónica «moderna» con el sonido popular tradicional: música, cultura de masas y temas urbanos. Volk se fue gestando con estos ingredientes, más la participación en el grupo Chill and Go y en el recopilatorio en Urbe Probeta.
